The St. Vincent de Paul Society has been helping those in need from our parish for over 50 years. Every Saturday morning, members of the Society meet in the Social Hall Kitchen to prepare food boxes they will deliver to the many families who wouldn't otherwise be able to purchase the food needed to sustain them through the week.

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.' Then the righteous will answer him and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?' And the king will say to them in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.'

The St. Mary's Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society depends upon your support to continue it's ministry.
There are two ways you can support their efforts. One is by bringing a sack of canned goods on the third Sunday of every month to the Basilica, or by making a tax deductible donation. You may mail your gifts to SVDP in care of St. Mary's Basilca at 231 North Third Street Phoenix AZ 85004 or through an online donation. Simply click the donate to St. Mary's Button below and your gift will go directly to SVDP Conference at St. Mary's. |
